Project: Final Fantasy XV playthrough pt. 2.

Playthrough - Part 2.

So, we just found out that the Empire of Niflheim screwed us over and murdered our beloved monarch, King Regis - Noctis' father. They led an attack on Insomnia aka. Crown City and therefore is now controlling the entire Kingdom of Lucis - shit.

Since Cor - what a badass - contacted us directing us back to Hammerhead, we had no choice but to follow his lead...

... Which leaves us here back in the desert - with Cindy.

Damn, we love this picture.
But wait, he is not here? Where is he?! Turns out, that he is not waiting in Hammerhead, but at a tomb called Tomb of the Wise.

At the tomb, Noctis gets pretty emotional - understandable since his father just died, his empire is conquered by assholes, and now they want him to use some kind of royal arcane-ish weapons.
the Sword of the Wise

Well, after his emotional episode Corleone - wait, no. Cor Leonis, yeah, that's it, tells us to go and find 12 other tombs scattered across the world to find mythical royal weapons. So, of course, we abide.

Cor follows us to the next tomb, Tomb of the Conqueror - not as pretty as the first one - where we find the Axe of the Conqueror (pretty creative, right?). We did have to fight an Arachne, which is a demon lady with the body of a spider. Easy kill though (we still play on easy-mode).

Afterward, Cor tells us to go and slay some more of those Imperial soldiers since they started building walls and strongholds - so that's what we do. Pretty easy.

But wait, we are attacked by some guy - with a very light voice and a very cool Gundam-robot - called Loki. This fight took a little longer than our usual combat-scenarios, but all's well that ends well.

And that is the end of chapter 2.

So, we still think the game is very good! But, we found some more stuff we thought could be better. The combat system is not very good, especially when there are many enemies. It is difficult to target specific enemies and you end up just hitting a lot of different ones. And after trying to fix the problems with the camera-angle we found out that it is unfixable from within the options menu, which sucks! Also, the last fight with Loki wasn't epic at all, and we would have loved to see a better introduction to the boss. Seriously, a guy named Loki should be a more badass boss.

Storywise, the game is still very appealing, and even more so after everything that happened in Insomnia. Can't wait for the next chapter - and hopefully, there will be a cooler boss than Loki.

This is all for now, and thanks for reading, and hopefully continuing reading.

Stay tuned for chapter 3!
